If you know me, you may know how much I love the Shabby Chic style and the dolls, so when my friend Art Cuore showed me her projects,  I decided to participate in this challenge, too.

I made an agenda using my favorite colors and two different stamps, which are my favorites too.

Hice una agenda usando mis colores favoritos y dos sellos, los cuales tambien son mis preferidos.

Altered bottles for Halloween and Dia de Muertos

The challenge No. 21, from Latinas Arts and Crafts, call for altered a bottle, and I was working altering some containers to decorate my home for the season, so I made these.

I took this little bottle and add a label.

El reto No. 21 de Latinas Arts and Crafts, es alterar una botella, justo cuando estaba alterando unos frascos para decorar mi casa en esta temporada,  Esto es lo que hice.

Summer luminary

Luminaria de Verano.

I love summer, the beach and have a good talk outside the house enjoying the breeze at dusk and I also love challenges. During the week I read this week challenge #8 at Rearte  (http://stampartpapel.com/retarte-8-la-transparencia-del-vellum./) to use vellum paper on a project and it was just last night while we were talking around a citronella candle to ward off mosquitoes that occurred to me to make this luminary.

Me encanta el verano, la playa y tener de una buena platica afuera de la casa disfrutando la brisa al caer la noche y tambien me encantan los retos. Durante la semana lei el reto # 8 de esta semana en Rearte (http://stampartpapel.com/retarte-8-la-transparencia-del-vellum./)  para usar papel pergamino en un proyecto y fue justamente ayer en la noche mientras platicabamos al rededor de una vela de citronella para espantar a los mosquitos que se me ocurrio hacer esta luminaria.

If you've visited my blog, you've probably noticed that I love cards and I'm always trying to do them in a different way,  I made this today to participate in one of the challenges of Latinas Arts and Crafts blog, (You can find the tutorial in their blog) 

I liked  it because not only you can use it as a card, I think it will looks great on a lay out.

Si haz visitado mi blog, te habrás dado cuenta que me encantan las tarjetas y siempre trato de hacerlas de una manera diferente, tal como lo hice hoy.  Esta es para participar en uno de los retos de Latinas Arts and Crafts blog, ( puedes encontrar el tutorial en su blog).  

Me gustó, porque no sólo se puede utilizar como una tarjeta, creo que tambien se vera muy linda en un Lay out..

Peek-a-boo Card

This card was made for the challenge of Latinas Arts and Crafts' blog.  The challenge is to make a dynamic card, something with movement, so I thought this would be a good option.

Esta tarjeta fue hecha para el reto del blog  Latinas Arts and Crats.  El desafío consiste en hacer una tarjeta dinámica, con movimiento, así que pensé que esta sería una buena opción.

This is the inside, when you open it. you reveal a different message from the one you can see trough the window.

Este es el interior, al abrirla descubres un mensaje diferente al que se puede ver a través de la ventana.

Today I want to share with you this telescopic card, It was very fun to make it and I hope that the girl that is going to receive it loves it as much as I do. 

Hoy quiero compartir contigo esta tarjeta telescópica, fue muy divertido de hacerla y espero que a la niña que va a recibirla le guste tanto como a mi.

After I post my shadow box, I received some emails asking me for the tutorial, so here it is, I just make it in a form of a card, but basically they are the same instructions.


Despues de haber publicado mi caja "shadow box" recibi algunos correos electronicos pidiendome las instrucciones para hacerla, asi que aqui estan.  Esta vez la hice en forma de tarjeta, pero basicamente son las mismas instrucciones.

The Original version of this card is part of a challenge in the Scrapadabadoo group, It was designed by
Margaret Ann Moffa, and the flower was made with the tutorial from  Jani Hollister Lewis.

This is my version.


La versión original de esta tarjeta es parte de un desafío en el grupo Scrapadabadoo, fue diseñada por Margaret Ann Moffa, y la flor la hice con el tutorial de Jani Hollister Lewis.

But you can make it in different sizes according with your needs:

The measurements are:

Paper 11 x 8.5"

Score and fold it at  5.50"  in the long side and at 4.15" in the small.  If you don't like to measure, just fold it in half in both sides.  To make the pocket mark in one corner measure 3" in each side and 4" in the opposite corner as shown in the picture. Cut as shown.



Las medidas son: 

Papel 11 x 8.5 "

Marca y doblala a 5.50 "en el lado largo y en 4.15" en el pequeño. Si no te gusta medir, sólo dobla por la mitad en ambos lados. Para hacer la marca de bolsillo mide en una  esquina 3 "en cada lado y 4" en la esquina opuesta, como se muestra en la imagen. Corta como se muestra.

Paper 5.30" x 4.15 (half of the big card)

Score and fold at 4.25" in the long side and 2 11/16" in the small, To make the pockets measure 3" in both sides of one corner and 2.30" in the opposite one, fold and cut as shown. You can use this one for a gift card, as it is a little big I made a tag to put the card there.

Marca y se doblala en 4.25 "en el lado largo y 2 11/16" en el pequeño, para hacer los bolsillos marca  3" en una esquina por ambos lados y 2,30" en la opuesta, se dobla y se corta como se muestra. Puedes utilizarla para un tarjeta de regalo, como es un poco grande hice una etiqueta para poner la tarjeta allí.

Paper 6.75" x 4.75" (I used a page of a photo mat pad)

Score and fold at 3 3/8" in the long side and 2 3/8" in the short one, to make the pocket measure 2 3/8" in one corner and 1.75" in the opposite one, fold and cut as shown. You can also use a decorative punch to decorate your card.


Papel 6.75 "x 4.75" (yo usé una hoja de un blog para enmarcar fotos ) 

Marca  y doblala en 3 3/8 "en el lado largo y 2 3/8" en el corto, para hacer la medida del bolsillo de 2 3/8" en ambos lados de una esquina  y 1.75" en la esquina opuesta, Dobla y corta como se muestra . También puedes utilizar una perforadora decorativa para adornar su tarjeta.

Quiero compartirles la tarjeta/caja que acabo de hacer. Como parte del grupo Scrapadabadoo Crafts, en Facebook, tenemos la oportunidad de tomar un desafío cada semana, yo escogí hacer el mío utilizando el ultimo renglón y este fue el resultado.
