Kids are at home, is almost Christmas and you still need to prepare some things for the great day.  well I have a quick idea to keep the kids busy and have a nice detail for your family.

Los chicos estan en casa, es casi Navidad y tu todavia tienes que preparar algunas cosas para el gran dia,  bueno, aqui te dejo una pequeña idea para mantenerlos ocupados y al mismo tiempo que puedas tener un lindo detalle con la familia.

Mini Tags

Mini etiquetas

Today I bring you a quick idea, these mini tags are easy to make, super cheap and on trend  you may use your punches or cut the paper by hand.

You will need:

Punches (Optional) or
Pieces of craft card stock  that measure 2.5" x 1.5"
Pieces of black card stock that measure 1.5" x 1 1/4"
Glue
Inks brown and white
White pen or pencil color
Bakers twine

Hoy te traigo una idea rapidisma, unas etiquetitas faciles de hacer, baratas y de moda, puedes usar tus perforadoras o cortar el papel a mano.

Necesitaras:

Perforadoras (opcional) o
Piezas de cartoncillo color craft que midan 5 x 4 cm
Piezas de cartoncillo negro que midan 4 x 3 cm
Pegamento
Tintas cafe y blanca
Pluma o color blanco
Cordon.

Using the inks color the borders

Usando las tintas colorea los bordes.

Glue the black card stock in the tag.

Pega el cartoncillo negro a la etiqueta.  

Using the white color write the name.

Usando el color blanco escribe el nombre.

 Put the bakers twine and is ready!,

Pon el cordon y esta lista!

I made this card using the tutorial # 23 from Latinas arts and crafts' blog and I love it, so this will be my first Christmas card for a series of 5 that I will share with you this year.

Color Resistance Technique

Some days ago, I published this tag in my Facebook page and in Pinterest and I got some emails asking me about the technique I used.  Here I will explain it to you and I hope you can try it. 

You will need: 

. 1 tag

. 1 stencil

. magic medium

. 1 sponge

. Distress Ink

. applicator

. stamps

With the sponge, apply the magic medium on top of the stencil, remove it, clean it and let the tag dry.

Hace algunos dias publique esta etiqueta en mi pagina de Facebook y en Pinteres y he recibido algunos correos preguntandome acerca de la tecnica que use,  Aqui te la explico y espero la trates.

Vas a necesitar:

. 1 etiqueta

. 1 estencil/plantilla

. pintura magica

. 1 esponja

. tinta distress

. aplicador

. sellos

Con la esponja, aplica la pintura magica sobre el estencil, quitalo, linpialo y deja que la etiqueta se seque.

Today I want to show you a very easy and cute mini album, I saw one like this in You tube some time ago, but I really don't remember the name of the person who published it.  Any way, here is a little tutorial.

First I made some mini file folders whit this Tim Holtz die, but if you don't have it you can make yours with the envelope board punch or even just folding in the middle a piece of paper that measures 4 1/4' x 5 1/2"


Hoy quiero mostrarles este sencillo y tierno album.  Vi uno parecido en You tube hace algun tiempo pero la verdad no recuerdo el nombre de la persona que lo publico, pero aqui les dejo un pequeño tutorial.

Primero hice  algunos mini folders usando este troquel de Tim Holtz, pero si no lo tienes puedes usar el tablero para hacer sobres o simplemente dobla por la mitad una pieza de papel dque mida 10.5 cm x 14 cm

Tomorrow we are going to go with some friends to "The Medieval Times show", and when I got this stamp, it was to use it in an album with pictures of that show too, so I decide to use it again and do something for my girlfriends.  As I want them to use it, I did not put too many embellishments so it do not get destroy during the sunny day tomorrow. 

Mañana vamos a ir con unos amigos al Show de los "Tiempos Medievales", Cuando compre este sello, fue justamente para usarlo en un album con fotos de ese mismo espectaculo, asi que decidi volver a usarlo y hacer algo para mis amigas. Como quiero que lo puedan usar, no puse muchos adornos, pues no quiero que se les rompa, mientras disfrutamos de un dia soleado.

I love these cards and apparently everybody loves them too, but what happen when you need to make a lot of them?  you may need a lot of time, too.  Here I have a short cut to make them in 5 minutes or less.

To celebrate the day I will continue with my cards for Mother's day.

As a pet lover you know that your little ones, always want to be with you, and as I have a lot of friends that have pets and that they are like their kids, I create this card just for them.

Y para celebrarlo voy a continuar con mi serie de tarjetas para el dia de la madre.

Como amante de los animales, se que ellos siempre quieren estar con uno y como tengo muchas amigas que quieren a sus mascotas como  a sus hijos, diseñe esta tarjeta pensando en ellas.

Today I made an easy card for one of my friends that loves to watch TV.

Hoy hice una tarjeta sencilla para una amiga que ama ver television.

First took a piece of paper that measures 6.75 "x 4.75". Score it at 3.4 / 8 "and fold it in half, but you can use the card size you want. 

Toma una pieza de papel de 10.15 cm x 15.25 cm, marca  la mitad (5.8 cm) y dobla,  tu puedes usar una tarjeta del tamaño que quieras.

Cut a tv with a die from tv2stamp set, from "Stamps of life" by  Stephanie Barnard. 

Luego corta un suaje con la forma de televisor, del set tv2love de  "Stamps of life" de  Stephanie Barnard. 

Cut the second piece of paper at 3 3/8 "x 2 3/4" and score it at the longer side at 1/4 ", 3/4", 2 5 "and 3".

Corta una segunda pieza de  8.5 cm x 7 cm y  marca en 1 cm, 2 cm, 6.5 cm y 7.5 cm.

Fold the paper and put a picture in the middle part.

Dobla el papel y pon una foto en la parte de enmedio.

If you want you can put a piece of acrylic to cover the screen.

Si lo deseas puedes poner una pieza de acrilico para cubrir la pantalla.

 With the second piece of paper and the die cut form a box, (sorry, I forgot to take a picture) decorate it and place it in the card. as shown.

Con la segunda pieza de papel y el suaje forma una caja (lo siento, olvide sacar la foto) decora y pegala en la tarjeta como se muestra.

This is a collapsible card, so is easy to put in an envelope an mail it.

Esta tarjeta puede ser colapsada, asi que es muy sencillo ponerla en un sobre y enviarla por correo.

Mother's Day is around the corner and I want to share some of the cards that I will give to my friends. Is it happened to you that when your friends know that you are a crafter, they expect a better card each time? so this time the gift will be included in it. Here is the first.

Día de la Madre está a la vuelta de la esquina, asi que quiero compartir algunas de las tarjetas que voy a dar a mis amigas. ¿Te ha pasado que cuando tus amigos saben que eres es un artesano, esperan una mejor tarjeta cada vez? En  esta ocasion el regalo será incluido en el misma. Aquí está la primera.

You will need a piece of paper that measures 3" x 8.5"  and score it at at 1", 4", 5" and 8" with this piece you will make the box.

Necesitaras una pieza que mida 8 x 21.5 cm y marca en 2.5, 10, 12.5 y 20 cm, con esta pieza vas a formar la caja.

For the easel part, you may need a piece of 3" x 6", score it at 1.5" and 3". Cut another piece of 3" x 3" and glue it as shown in the picture.

Para la parte de arriba, necesitars una pieza de 6 x 7.5 , marca en 4 y 7.5 cm.  Corta otra pieza de 8 x 8 cm y pegala de acuerdo a como se muestra en la foto.

For the drawer you will need a piece that measures 4 7/8" x 4 7/8"  and score it at 1" in each side.

Para el cajon necesitaras una pieza de papel que mida 12 x 12 cmy marca en 2.5 cm en cada uno de los lados.

Cut and glue as shown to make the drawer.

Corta y pega como se muestra para hacer el cajon.

To decorate it you will need 4 pieces of 2 3/4" x 3/4".

Para decorarla necesitaras 4 piezas de 7  x  2 cm.

And 2 of  2 3/4" x 2 3/4".

Y 2 de 7 x 7 cm.

To adorn it, I took a die cut piece and punched a circle so I can put a little mirrow.

Para adornarla use una pieza suajada y con una perforadora hice un circulo para poder poner en el centro un  espejito.

I used a Tim Holtz's hitch fastener as a handler for the drawer.

Use un cierre de acoplamiento de Tim Holtz como manija para el cajon.

I finished my "little vanity box" with a flower and a butterfly.

Termine mi "pequeño tocardor" con una flor y una mariposa.
